You cannot pray the Lord’s Prayer and even once say “I”.
You cannot pray the Lord’s Prayer and even once say “MY”.
Nor can you pray the Lord’s Prayer and not pray for another;
for to ask for “our daily bread”, you include sister and brother.
All God’s children are included in each and every plea;
from the beginning to the end of it, it does not once say “ME”.
When you are good to others, you are best to yourself.
If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant; if we did not sometimes taste adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome.
When you’re tempted to lose patience with someone, think of how much God has been patient with you all the time.
Those who matter to us do not judge us….those who judge us do not matter.
Some cause happiness wherever they go; others whenever they go.

His address is unknown,
you can’t call information
to find His telephone.
But His line is never busy,
He answers every call,
He’s always there to help,
even when you fall.
All you need to do is pray,
You need no fancy words,
it costs no money for the call,
and every prayer is heard.
So if you are in pain,
and feeling lonely too,
just reach our for His help,
His love for you is true.
Serenity
When the world has been very dark
And you don’t know which way turn,
And you can’t seem to find the answers
No matter how much you yearn,
In the midst of all your problems,
Your heart finds a quiet spot,
Where nothing really is painful
And life will go on or not.
Some may consider this praying
But prayer asks for answers to need;
Serenity is merely accepting
The outcome to problems that breed.
In our everyday lives in numerous ways,
We cannot understand or control,
Having faith in God’s ultimate goodness
Keep our minds and our spirits whole.
